About Nicholas Southard, DO
Dr. Nicholas Southard became a vascular surgeon because he wanted to make a dramatic impact on patients by preventing strokes, limb loss and aneurysm ruptures. Directly out of training, he joined The Iowa Clinic in 2013 due to the Clinic's reputation as a well-respected diverse group of providers who offer high-quality care to the community. He was also drawn to the Vascular Surgery Department's long-standing history of providing cutting edge treatment to vascular patients.
When he isn't working, Nick enjoys spending time traveling with his family, baking and watching sports. Go Big Red!
