About Taylor Johnson, DO
Taylor Johnson, DO joined The Iowa Clinic because of the collaborative nature between specialists and primary care physicians, and wanted to continue her practice in the central Iowa area. While in medical school, Dr. Johnson enjoyed all aspects of care, like pediatrics, geriatrics, internal medicine, and obstetrics and gynecology – which led her to choose family medicine. Forming patient relationships and empowering patients to understand their healthcare is what Dr. Johnson finds most rewarding, because she understands that medicine can be confusing, and she aims to ensure her patients are involved and educated on their care.
Outside of work, Dr. Johnson enjoys exploring her community, trying local restaurants, and visiting parks with her husband, son, and dogs. She is also an avid fan of The Office and enjoys watching football. As a typical Iowan, you can find her on the front porch watching a storm roll in, so if she was not a provider, she would have been a meteorologist.
