About Tyler Olson, MD
Tyler Olson, MD, practiced in the Des Moines area for three years before joining The Iowa Clinic. He chose to join The Iowa Clinic because of its long-held reputation in the community and is happy to work at such a patient-oriented practice.
Dr. Olson has always been community and family oriented, which is why he chose Family Medicine. It gives him the opportunity to care for everyone - newborns through age 100 and older. He is involved in the Iowa Academy of Family Physician’s Advocacy Committee and is active in advocating for patients at both state and national levels. He enjoys forming long-lasting relationships with patients and considers that the most rewarding part of his job.
When he is not at the clinic, Dr. Olson enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, watching or playing sports, and gardening.
