About Huynh Vo, DO
Dr. Huynh Vo joined The Iowa Clinic Urbandale Family Medicine department in 2024 after his experiences as a medical student and resident, where he admired the collaborative care among providers. Dr. Vo chose family medicine because of the opportunity it provides him to care for all age groups while being able to build long lasting relationships. He finds it rewarding to continually grow and stay current in the ever-evolving medical field.
Dr. Vo grew up in the Des Moines metro area, including Urbandale, where now resides with his wife, child, and two cats. Outside of work, he enjoys running, playing ultimate frisbee, weightlifting, and playing board games. If he hadn’t pursed medicine, he might have chosen a career in actuarial science.
