About Matt Pearson, PA-C
Matt Pearson, PA-C joined The Iowa Clinic Gastroenterology department in 2025. Growing up in central Iowa, he was drawn to TIC’s strong reputation for patient-centered care and its commitment to high-quality medicine. Throughout his training in PA school, he developed an interest in Gastroenterology, where he saw the impact of building long-term patient relationships. For Matt, the most rewarding part of his job is taking the time to truly listen to his patients and ensure they feel heard.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys staying active through sports, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. A passionate Ohio State fan, he also loves watching hockey. If he wasn’t a healthcare provider, he might have pursued a career as a marine biologist.
