Achilles Tendon Rupture: An Achilles Tendon Rutpure is a severe injury where the Achilles tendon tears partially or completely, often because of a sudden, forceful movement, or trauma. Symptoms of an Achilles Tendon Rupture include a sudden sharp pain in the back of the ankle and difficulty walking.
