What is the Pink Ribbon Program?
After being diagnosed with breast cancer, it will likely be recommended to either receive a lumpectomy or mastectomy. Both procedures will likely come with side effects such as limited range of motion, pain or possibly lymphedema.
The Pink Ribbon Program was started by a breast cancer survivor in order to help other breast cancer patients with a smooth recovery. The therapy provided through the Pink Ribbon Program is designed to improve mobility, strength and quality of life after breast cancer surgery and treatment. At The Iowa Clinic, we have multiple physical therapists who dedicate their time to helping breast cancer patients get stronger and recover faster.
