Cancer is a serious illness that takes an emotional and physical toll. Palliative care focuses on improving the quality of life for patients, as well as the family helping them through this difficult time. It’s our goal to relieve the symptoms and stress of the disease from diagnosis through treatment. The Iowa Clinic works with partners across Central Iowa to connect you with all the support services you need.

Above + Beyond Cancer Optimal Living Program offers a wide variety of evidence-based programs led by medical staff and certified instructors, as well as other useful resources.
Can Do Cancer is a central Iowa nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy. Their mission is to improve the lives of patients by providing free meal delivery, housecleaning services, a peer mentoring program, and educational resources to help patients navigate their diagnosis and treatment.
