Hysterosalpingogram (HSG)

An HSG examines the uterus and fallopian tubes of a woman who is having difficulty becoming pregnant.

The exam allows the radiologist to examine the shape and structure of the uterus, the openness of the Fallopian tubes and any scarring within the uterine or peritoneal (abdominal) cavity.
