The Iowa Clinic, P.C. was formed in 1994. Today we are the largest physician owned multi-specialty group in Central Iowa with more than 250 physicians and healthcare providers practicing in 40+ specialties.
Here at The Iowa Clinic, we don’t see patients…we see mothers, daughters, fathers, sons and friends. Our physicians and staff are committed to meeting and exceeding your expectations while providing healthcare services of the highest quality. We are not satisfied with anything less.
Physician Owned & Independent
We are locally owned by doctors living and working in the communities we serve. Why does this matter? Because decisions about patient care are determined by you and your physician, not a larger corporate entity. Independence and control of patient care brought us together in 1994, and it’s what keeps us together today.

We are proud that our 250+ healthcare providers consistently rank top in quality and outcomes as recognized by Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. In 2014, we contracted with Wellmark as an Accountable Care Organization (ACO). The purpose of an ACO is to coordinate care for patients resulting in higher quality, lower costs and improved patient experience.

The Iowa Clinic partners with local medical centers and hospitals to provide leading-edge healthcare for the patients of Central Iowa. The Iowa Clinic serves a population area of 1.1 million, seeing over 700,000 patient visits each year.
